Left Out: Independent, Reality-Based Radio

Left Out is a public affairs program on WRCT Pittsburgh 88.3FM co-hosted by Bob Harper and Danny Sleator. We examine news and opinions left out of the mainstream media. The show is broadcast bi-weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:00PM to 7:00PM (EST), and is also available live on the Internet via a high bandwidth and a low bandwidth audio stream, and via podcasting with this XML file.

During the program, listeners are invited to call the us at (412) 268-WRCT (9728), or send email to bob@leftout.info.

Left Out was featured in the Pittsburgh City Paper on October 28, 2004 in an article entitled "Left Talk Ahead" by Kathy Newman.

About the Hosts

Robert Harper and Danny Sleator are professors in the Computer Science Departments at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

Harper has been a guest on Off Q, a weekly political discussion program on WQED-TV, on February 13, 2004, May 28, 2004, April 22, 2005, and January 6, 2006.

Sleator is a key participant in the Pittsburgh Campaign for Democracy Now, which sponsors Democracy Now on WRCT. Listen to it each weekday at 8am. He also founded the Internet Chess Club, and has a politics web page.
